Many scientists argue that we have already surpassed that number. To us, 1.5º is MUCH more than a number. It’s a representation of the radical new thinking that IS required to correct course. This studio exists because we looked at the creative industry, and its history of driving consumerism and extractive lifestyles, and saw that this model is wholly incompatible with what science and ancient wisdom tell us about climate change. If our industry were truly creative, it would be able to redefine itself and its structures in response to climate science, but it hasn’t. It IS still business as usual. That’s where we come in.
